Dave is a personal trainer at Palms Leisure Club, bringing 5 years as a fitness instructor and 1 year as a qualified personal trainer. Dave started his career in the industry as a sports coach at a disabilities group running different sessions with a variety of sports.
Aswell as helping out with the coaching, Dave was at college completing a level 3 diploma in sport and moving on to do his level 2 fitness instructors qualification. After completion, looking to gain some experience he then went on to volunteer at a leisure centre in Bridlington which gave him a good step up and confidence in the industry. His first proper position in the industry came at another local gym in Bridlington which gave him the tools to excel going forward.
While working at the local gym, Dave did some volunteering at his current employer – Palms Leisure Club, where he learned valuable skills on how a private leisure club is ran. It was then he started his level 3 personal training course. Eventually he become a permanent member of staff at Palms after passing various swimming qualifications and first aid. He is now currently enjoying his time at Palms and the early stages of being a personal trainer and is looking forward to continuing his career within the industry.

Hobbies and interests
Dave enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as going out cycling at least once a week. He also enjoys going to Old Trafford for a few games a season to support his football team, Manchester United.
